Rebecca McSwain serves as Vice President of Clinical and Provider Services for HealthSCOPE Benefits. In this capacity Ms. McSwain is responsible for the medical management and provider network operations for Southwest Texas and South-central and Southeastern New Mexico. Prior to joining HealthSCOPE, she served as Vice President for a Texas based third party administrator. Ms. McSwain has over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Texas. Her clinical experience is primarily in Medical-Surgical and Trauma care. Ms. McSwain has prior work experience with other Managed care organizations in the commercial and Medicaid HMO markets.
Ms. McSwain received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Master of Arts in Health Services Administration from Webster University. She holds a certification in Healthcare Quality.
