Essential Functions of Job:

• Manages the unit that provides implementation and claims administration services to clients • Achieve defined productivity, timeliness, and quality standards • Monitor reports on production and quality of staff • Motivate, develop and retain a competent staff • Maintain active command of staffs job related skills • Identify and assist in the recognition, analysis and resolution of organizational and procedural problems • Interface with new clients for implementation of group • Assure system is programmed accurately to benefits design for each group • Provide technical assistance on problem research & resolution • Interface with customers (both internal and/or external) to resolve problems • Proactively work with customers (both internal and/or external) to provide unsurpassed customer service and seamless benefits administration • Maintain assigned client documentation • Maintain thorough understanding of client specific and industry standards • Maintain claims accuracy and turn around time for all clients • Some travel may be required • Ability to report to the office

Qualifications:

• College degree preferred, experience considered in lieu of degree • Effective organizational and prioritization skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to instruct and develop team members • Strong problem solving skills • Thorough understanding of employee benefits and benefits interpretation • 7 or more years supervisory experience preferred • 7 or more years claims payment and/or benefits administration or equivalent experience preferred
