Essential Functions of Job:

• Supervising Customer Care Representatives • Monitor call activity and adjust calls as needed to meet CC goals • Achieve defined productivity, timeliness, and quality standards in Customer Care • Motivate, develop and retain a competent customer care staff • Provide technical assistance on CCR problem calls • Interface with callers to resolve problems or determine satisfaction with customer care • Assist in the recognition, analysis and resolution of organizational and procedural problems • Maintain active command of processing skills • Log onto phones daily as call volume dictates • Ability to report to the office


• College degree preferred, experience considered in lieu of degree • Effective organizational and prioritization skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) • Ability to work in a fast paced multi-tasking environment • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team and develop individuals • Working knowledge of CPT-4 coding, ICD9 and medical terminology a plus • Thorough understanding of medical (managed care and traditional) and dental benefits desired • 3 or more years of supervisory experience preferred
