Essential Functions of Job:• Provide general administrative assistance to manager and department, as directed by manager • Coordinate the triaging, tracking, and closing of all Provider Network requests, both internally and externally • Conduct periodic checks and updates on contract and document organization within shared departmental drives • Assist with various Provider Network Load tasks as directed, including but not limited to: • Evaluate network design for new business groups and plan changes • Coordinate and document network design with Account Management and Benefit Programmer • Manage benefit change forms and completion for Provider Network Load team • Perform initial research for reported potential network load issues • Assist Provider Network Load team with various plan setup functions • Manage Monthly Stop Loss Shutdown • Update policy and procedure documents for department tasks, as needed • Ability to report to the office
Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent • Advanced organizational and prioritization skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including giving presentations • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) • Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to function as a positive team member • Meticulous attention to detail • Logical, analytical approach to understanding of medical, dental and vision benefits • 1+ years health care industry experience preferred • 1-2 years Administrative Assistant experience desired
